The Logicom Cyprus Marathon is fast approaching, and Logicom Public Ltd will continue as the official sponsor of this international running event, set to take place on Sunday 17th March 2019 in Paphos.
The Logicom Cyprus Marathon is the oldest Marathon in the history of Cyprus, and is dedicated to legendary Cypriot Marathon runner, Stelios Kyriakides. This year, the event is expected to host more than 3,500 runners from more than 50 different countries.
The marathon itself begins at the scenic Aphrodite's Rock, and ends at the Paphos Medieval Fort. It offers participants fluid stations and music points across the course, as well as entertainment at the finish line. Runners can choose from four different races; the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km Road Race, and the 5km Fun Run.
This year, the Logicom Cyprus Marathon will be hosting the 1st Cyprus Marathon Symposium on 16th March. The Symposium, to be held at the Annabelle Hotel in Paphos, will feature presentations from prominent speakers in the running world. Logicom Solutions' Business Consulting Services Director, Chrysostomos Kridiotis, will be at the Symposium to give a presentation entitled "How does technological innovation enhance athletic performance?"
